The Core Values of Heritage Fellowship ChurchI. Presence-Based Living. True abundant life flows from daily living in and experiencing the presence of God.
II. Identity in Christ
To experience a life-changing, personal, and intimate relationship with Jesus is essential to reach one’s identity and destiny in Christ. A commitment to Jesus is reflected and realized through devotion to the Word of God, worship, prayer, obedience to the Holy Spirit, and participation in a local expression of the Body of Christ.
III. Family
Biblical principles for marriage and parenting provide the foundation for healthy families. The strength and health of the family will be the strength and health of the congregation. Children, youth and single adults are an integral and valued part of the Body of Christ, and as such, are to be included, affirmed and equipped.
IV. Koinonia--Caring Community
A caring community positively affects the lives of those in the congregation and our neighborhoods. An atmosphere of love and grace fosters community that positively affects people’s lives by creating a culture of honor and acceptance toward all people.
V. The Great Commission
The root of evangelism is each believer sharing Jesus and living a holy life to reach our communities, state, nation and the world with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.
